*I can accept only a limited number of preservations, on a first come, first served basis. Your event is special and unique to you, and I want to ensure I put the same care into creating your one-of-a-kind keepsakes. Any additional keepsakes may be ordered anytime throughout the preservation process. It is important to be aware that the whole process from start to finish can take approximately 2-4 months.

Step 2: Receive your blooms, prep & design

Immediately after your event, please store your blooms in water, and keep them refrigerated. Within 24-48 hours of your wedding, we will arrange for the delivery/pickup of your flowers.

I will then carefully deconstruct your bouquet and begin the drying process to preserve as much of the color and form of your blooms as possible. Design layout photos will be emailed to you for review, before I begin. Resin blocks smaller than 6" will be designed and created with my choice of your flowers that will fit best within the mold.

Once you approve the final layout and design, I will begin to pour. At this time, an invoice for 100% of the remaining balance and any shipping fees will be sent to you. I will begin the pouring process once full payment is received.

*It can take between 4-6 weeks for pouring the various layers of resin and for it all to cure.

Step 3: Delivery

Once your keepsakes are complete, I will reach out to arrange delivery or pickup of your order. Be ready to love your blooms forever!

Project Creation Process

Drying Your Blooms:

The style of piece that you choose will define how we dry your blooms. I submerge the flower heads in layers of silica gel from 7-14 days, depending on the moisture levels. For flat lays, like coasters and trays, I also use a pressing technique to ensure the blooms will fit well into those items. Pressing flowers properly in this manner can take 3-4 weeks.

Design Process:

I design your arrangement and visually place your blooms in the mold to get an idea for the best layout. If requested, I will send you a picture mockup for approval prior to starting the resin process. I can then make adjustments based on your feedback to make sure you are happy with your designs.

Resin Process:

I take care to pour thin layers of resin over your blooms, allowing bubbles to escape and each layer to cure, until your florals are completely submerged. Depending on the thickness of your piece, this process can take anywhere from 3-14 days. Once I de-mold your piece, I then let it sit for about a week on its own to allow your piece to fully cure and harden.

I want to ensure that what I am creating is what you’re looking for. Each piece is part of an important memory to you and I want to make sure that you are comfortable throughout the entire process. Please reach out to info@wildflowerinkdesigns.com with any further questions.
